Edward Carlton "Yogi" Baur

I was one of the younger Maynard kids in Noank so I only heard how much he was loved by the whole village and the older Maynards, including my father, Walt, and mother, Dot. My most favorite story about Yogi that I heard from my family and villagers as a kid was when everyone ran up to the park one winter when the firehouse flooded it, because they heard Yogi was finally going to try to ice skate. He was a big fellow and his courageous attempts were the talk of the town and pretty riotous...

Thoughts and prayers to the family. Yogi you were so special. Many laughs we had. Rest in peace now.

Rest In Peace Yogi great times growing up in Noank.

He was such a a kind hearted man, when we would see eachother we would talk about our cats. I will miss seeing him on my walks or even in my early morning grocery shopping trips to big Y. Thank you Ed for being a kind soul In this world. Your feline family was so fortunate to have you.

To the Family and friends of Yogi, We had great times together weather it was a trip to the dog track, a few beers in Westerly or just going on a safari. God Bless, Terry
