Edward Bednarek, 63, passed away Nov. 3, 2012. A memorial service for "Big Ed" will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Rd., Piscataway, N.J. 08854. Surviving are his children, Ed, Joya and Alyssa Bednarek, and his sister, Halina Dabrowski.

I haven's seen or spoken with Ed in many years, but have fond memories of our playing together on West 6th with John K, and the other guys in the neighborhood. Ed was a good guy.
