My condolences to the Whole Benderski Family! I will Greatly miss sitting w/"Benny" at the American Legion, our talks and laughter! Trips to Utica.. for Haponowicz & the Bakery! I won´t be home until the 26th, so I´ll miss my visit to your house this year. I know you´ve had it rough the last 2 years; so rest easy, my Friend! Eddy was a special person. We would sit on his porch and talk. God has got another angel. Our sympathy goes out to the family.

Ed was my first ever brother-in-law and I was thrilled. I was 13 when he appeared on the scene in almost perfect timing to adeptly provide stellar first-aid to a knee laceration I had sustained in a biking accident. I have never forgotten. Nor have I forgotten the holiday gatherings and fun times enjoyed at the Benderski estate. In later years Ed began addressing me with what I considered to be a special term of endearment.
