Ed had a unique sense of humor, fun loving spirit (especially bringing out the kid in all of us while displaying and operating his trains), was a trusted friend and occupational colleague, and would never miss an opportunity to try something new ... and then there is his love for his children and grandchildren. I will miss Ed calling me "counsel" with a smile on his face. Love you Ed.

I had the honor and privilege of practicing with Ed at Seyfarth for 26.5 years. Ed was a trailblazer as a wage-hour expert, but his brilliance as a lawyer always was secondary to his thoughtfulness and kindness as a mentor, partner and friend.
