Edward M. Berko

I am Ed Berko’s classmate from West Point, Class of 1954. Ed & I were company mates in Cadet Company G-1 for four years.
I will assist Ed's family in preparing a Memorial Article (MA) for publication in TAPS (an annual publication of MAs by the West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG). To the Berko Family, I'm very sorry for your loss. I was a student of Mr. Berko and he was an excellant Teacher that had an impact in my life. He taught me Algebra in 9th grade, at that time the school was Belmont Jr High. He encouraged me in many very positive ways and I participated in a Math competition at Suffolk Community College. I am now an Engineer. I looked forward to his class every day. I wish I could have seen him again and told this to him myself. Best to all.
