TONY AND BECKY
I KNOW THAT YOUR FATHER WAS A GREAT MAN AND LIVED A LONG AND PROSPEROUS LIFE.
WE WILL KEEP YOU LIFTED IN OUR PRAYERS

I used to work at the Erie VA until my husband received Orders to move. I loved talking to Ed, what a true hero. I am a Vet myself and always found myself in "awe" when he talked to me about his experiences.

We are in Arlington, VA now, and I wish I could make it to the Memorial Service on 11 JUN 2016. However, Ed loved LIFE; I have been mourning since I heard the very sad news. I want to LOVE life again starting this weekend, for Ed.

He is now reunited with some of his...

On behalf of the Joseph Lesniewski family, who was one of Ed's "Band of Brothers" compatriots, we wish to express our deepest sympathy to your family. Several of us had met your Dad at the VA where our Dad also resided for several years. He was a great man, very kind and funny, and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He was a true hero and will be greatly missed.

Janet Lesniewski Fowler (Pat, Joe, Elaine, Jean and John)

Days come and go. Seasons change. But the memories last. RIP Ed. You will be missed. I am honored to be one of the many to help take care of you in this life.

Ed always had a smile and would ask about my Dad (who volunteered with him at VA). He had touched a lot of people at the VA. RIP Ed.

I enjoyed working with you in the mailroom.

I met Ed 5yrs ago when my father was a resident at the VA Medical Center - My daughters and grand-daughter also had the honor to meet him and get to know him. We would always get a chance to talk after Bingo night - He was a very special man and it was an honor to get to know him and share a laugh or two.
