Not sure what to say?

Still miss you every day Dad. Thank you for everything!

Ed you had such an enormous Impact on me and I have always kept our talks "like Tuesday's with Morrie" close to my heart. As you once wrote in a letter to me. "Education needs you Buddy." With you in my Heart and on my mind every day , I found my way back into education and am a Special Education Math Teacher doing all I can to be the difference you were to me for those I am lucky enough to teach. I am so sorry I stopped reaching out to you after I came to see you after your stroke. I...

Mr. Ed Betts you are mentioned almost everyday and made such a huge impact in my husbands life.- Deloren Maier

I will miss the light you brought to all of us!

So sorry for the loss of this fine man. Ed and Gail were our neighbors in West Chester and we appreciated their Christian witness and many gifts--both musical (Gail) and pastoral (Ed) --and their passion for teaching.
Rest in the peace of Christ.

Ed was the assistant principal of Valley Forge Junior High School when my family moved to PA. I started school a month into the school year and he took me under his wing and became my mentor. He encouraged my talent in the performing and my career as an actor and a teacher would never have happened without him. May his family take comfort in knowing that there are thousands of us out there who were influenced by him and are paying it forward.

I vividly remember being saved at St. Paul's Baptist Church in West Chester under the leadership of Reverend Betts (alter call). He had a strong influence in my life and will always be remembered.

Deepest condolences to the family; Elana, Adrian and Diana. You've been through so much already. Stay close to God for his comfort and I'll pray that HE blesses you with the strength to endure. Much love to you all during this time.....Cousin Roze Cohen, New Castle PA/Honolulu, HI
