So sorry for the loss of this fine man. Ed and Gail were our neighbors in West Chester and we appreciated their Christian witness and many gifts--both musical (Gail) and pastoral (Ed) --and their passion for teaching.
Rest in the peace of Christ.

Ed was the assistant principal of Valley Forge Junior High School when my family moved to PA. I started school a month into the school year and he took me under his wing and became my mentor. He encouraged my talent in the performing and my career as an actor and a teacher would never have happened without him. May his family take comfort in knowing that there are thousands of us out there who were influenced by him and are paying it forward.

I vividly remember being saved at St. Paul's Baptist Church in West Chester under the leadership of Reverend Betts (alter call). He had a strong influence in my life and will always be remembered.
