Not sure what to say?

May the love & support of yours& Uncle Ed's many family & friends help you thru this difficult time I will miss Uncle "Ed".

To Janice and family: I was so sad to read about Ed's passing...he truly was a humble and loving man. Though I didn't know him well, I remember being inspired by his devotion to physical health and running/race walking to keep Tamara company on her long distance quests. When he brought little Aiden into the office, he was so patient and you could see his delight with everything his grandson would do. I'm sure that no one could leave a greater legacy of love and devotion that Ed.

Thinking of you Janice and your family. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Ed was my "new" neighbor along with Janet, his wife who moved in last year. Ed and I would chat as he was heading out to walk Lucy their doodle dog. Both Ed and Lucy were lovely and adorable to share time with. I shall miss him. Janet and family, I'm sorry for your loss... keep the memories that make you smile close. Maridee

Ed was truly an inspiration for a whole generation of Special Education Administrators. His words were always gentle, caring, but most of all pushing all to strive for education all children to the highest level of ability. He is so very much appreciated for his great contributions to Special Education in Michigan.

Ed was a very special person. Everyone who came in contact with Ed was a better person for knowing him. He will be missed.

I am so very sorry to learn of Ed´s passing. My sincere condolences to Janice and family. I only knew Ed through mutual social occasions, but was aware of his impact and work in the Kalamazoo community. He will be missed by many. A life well lived, indeed. Sincerely, Helen Osterwald

Ed moved many many minds and hearts to celebrate and lead the charge for the dignity of those needing our support. He will always be an icon to many of us.
