Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Mr. Bitzer as a kind and generous man with a heart of gold. Fond memories.

We have fond memories of Mr. Bitzer and miss him and his dear wife Alice very much. Two great people!

Ed will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He always had a smile and a story. He was a wonderful man. Our condolences to his family.

From my very first visit with Mr. B during my final year in college to being fortunate enough to congratulate him at his recent 90th birthday celebration, my memories of him will never fade. Always with a kind word, a warm heart, a sense of humor and a welcome that made you feel like family. This truly was a remarkable man in so many ways. What wonderful memories we have of Mr. B and indeed all of the Bitzer family. We send our heartfelt condolences as well as our thoughts and prayers to all.

"Papa" was a great man and he always had a smile. I enjoyed the times at camp and how he loved the 4th of July parades and parties. To all the Bitzers thoughts and prayers to you all. R.I.P Ed , you will be missed.

The Hawkins and Merrigans will miss our neighbor of all these years.

On behalf of All Souls Church, please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences. Mr. Bitzer had been a congregant of ours longer than any other member, and his wisdom and energy will long be remembered ... and sorely missed.
