Not sure what to say?

So sorry to learn of Eddie's death. He & I spent lots of time together at Rosemont Grammer School-He was always smarter than me.Gene, would you email me if Eddie went to Chicora High School-I graduated in 1951.We lost touch after Rosemont. My email is [email protected]

Bruce Cusack and Johnnie Saunders were unable to attend the services but want to express our condolences. We remember Ed and the family with warm regards. Blessings to the family. We have wonderful memories of the entire family.

Ann and I were friends all through school, before we could drive Eddie, Bobby and Genie were always driving us somewhere. Always lots of laughter where ever we were going. Eddie was always so kind to us, never complained (to us anyway) about helping us young teenagers. My heart goes out to the family at this sad time. Thank you Eddie for taking such good care of us!!

Just wanted to send my deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My husband Willard Menning was at the Veterans Victory House during the time that Eddie Blanton Jr was there, you couldn't help but enjoy his company and know who he was, from his profession to helping him with meals which I thoroughly enjoyed. He was always singing Jesus Loves Me. He was uplifting to me because he was so outspoken and humorous. I am so sorry to hear of his passing, and may God comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Eddie was so very dear to my dad, Jim Blanton. Dad told so many stories about his Charleston cousins, and I remember many wonderful visits with Eddie in Charleston and in Colorado. He will be greatly missed. Love to all of you from Jim's kids.

Our dad, Charlie Lauder, was at the Victory House while Mr. Blanton was there. We often visited with him while we were visiting our dad. He always told us that he loved us and often made us laugh. May God hold you all in His arms and comfort you during this difficult time.

To the Blanton Family: I echo the thoughts, memories, and sympathy at Eddie's passing expressed above by my sister, Carol. The Blanton's and the Carter's grew up together and worked together. They were one of the finest families in all of the North Charleston area. My condolences to all of you.
