To the family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Ed. He was a very funny man; always making people laugh! He lived a full life, and was a great friend to my dad, Gerry Boudreaux. I know all of his bowling buddies cannot wait to get another game going! RIP Mr. Ed.
My condolences and hugs to all,

Col. Blum was one of the most interesting people I ever met through the American Legion. What wonderful factual stories he could tell, from his being a cavalry private at Jackson Barracks to the Air Force as a Lt. Col. I am glad I had to the opportunity ot know him. My condolences to his family.

my favorite memory of Uncle Ed: we drove up to the gates at Keesler AFB, and the guard leaned on the window to ask why we were there. Uncle Ed flashed his ID, stating he was retired Lt. Col., and the way that guard snapped to attention blew my mind! The respect this man commanded was lost on me until that moment. Anyways, everyone up there's waiting for you to take their picture and to hear your jokes like they've never heard them. RIP Uncle Ed

My favorite memory (among the many): we pulled up to the gate at Keesler AFB. The guard leaned in to the window rather cocky, Uncle Ed flashed his ID, stating he was retired Lt. Col.; the way that guard snapped to attention was incredible! Be assured of this Uncle Ed; Aunt Myrtle, Gloria, Jimmy, Tanker, etc are all waiting for you to arrive to tell them some jokes while taking their picture! RIP
