Not sure what to say?

lots of SCCA laps and enjoyment. will always miss that smile and laught

As I prepare to share with my students information about jobs and grad school opportunities I cannot help but smile and remember Ed.

I had no idea that Ed had passed away. I only stumbled upon this wonderful tribute when I was looking to catch up with him. I met Ed a number of years ago at a meeting where he spoke about his work as a biotech recruiter. As a young faculty member I was most interested to learn and he was so kind to teach. He shared his slides with me and helped a number of my students with their job searches. I am truly sorry to learn that he passed. He really was a remarkable person!

I can't believe it's been a year since Ed passed away. Our working together at FASEB meetings will always be a part of wonderful memories. I continue to miss his kindness, humor, and intelligence. - Judy Blumenthal

I didn't know Ed as well as I knew some of my other family members but its still sad to know he is gone. I remember little trips we would take to visit him and the rest of the family, we always had fun. Its so hard to lose family, it just doesn't seem fair. I love my family =)

I was recently in the Massachusetts area and thought of Ed and how he recruited me to the Boston area for Factory Mutual. I am saddened to learn of his death and send my best to his family.

I first met Ed back in the mid 70's racing at Bryar Motorsports Park. The exact introduction, I do not remember, but, being editor of Pit TAlk magazine at that time, I had the opportunity to meet many racers.
But one of our initial contacts, was that he gave me a a number of really good racing shots of me racing my MGA... but, also included were some proof prints of other racers, and some woman taking times in the pit lane. He must of spun around in his location, and with his telephoto...

I consider the times that I had with Ed as truly golden times. Racing and laughing he was always a guide and a great friend. Although I have not seen Ed for a number of years I will always treasure the golden years.

I am so sad to learn of Ed's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Ed at Genzyme and he was a true professional, who helped me immensely. He even let me drive his Porsche up the Bose Mountain!
He gave me a gift of a very special bottle of wine that I have been saving and I plan to finally open it tonight and toast him. Ed's kindness has left a mark on my life.
