Edward was born on December 22, 1938 and passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Edward was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana at the time of passing. He started his formal education at St. Benedict Seminary in Covington, LA, followed by a year at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, ultimately finishing his undergraduate degree at Loyola University. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday May 24, 2019 at 1: 00 p.m. at Saint Joseph Abbey, 75376 River Road, Covington, 70457 with interment to follow in the Abbey Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Joseph Abbey.
Wow, just found out about the passing of Eddie, today, 4 years late. He was my families neighbor, and friend. Such a sweet and genuine person. I remember wife Luce, who was so kind and friendly to my mother. May his Memory be for Blessings. Charles Brum

So sorry Eddie has passed. Was just looking for an address or phone number as we will be passing thru the area next month. All the best to Luce and the family. Luce and family, we were so sad to hear of Eds passing. Growing up with the Booker boys was a special time in my life. Boating,water skiing, fishing ,camping we did it all . Ed was always the most reasonable one of the old guard and saved us from ourselves regularly .
I shall forever cherish those memories. May the Lord be with you all in this time of need

Cousin Eddie was a constant presence in the Hoy M. Booker Family along with his brother Patrick. Eddie stayed close to us, and supported us in situations of need up to and including Hoy Booker's struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
