Tommy and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Ned's death but know he was doing what he enjoyed most -- traveling. The members of the Brigadier General & War Governor Henry Watkins Allen, Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp 133 of Baton Rouge mourn one of our SCV life members. Dear Patsy, Adele, and family,
I am sorely heartbroken to hear about Ned. He was very dear to me and I will miss him.
I have never known anyone quite like Ned...he was so full of life and love. And get him together with Clark Gaudin and the laughter would go on for hours.
But what Ned enjoyed the most was a good argument, and he was quite willing to argue about anything...and we did!
He will be missed for his 'Bon Vivance', his humor, his great...
