He was the wind beneath our wings. You all were the light of his life. May the wind continue to blow and sustain you with his love

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Boss family. We knew Ed and Faye at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda. We have been gone for 15 years to PA, starting Covenant Village Retreat Center. We moved into Riderwood Village August 17th. I saw Ed in the hallways twice in two days and we became reacquainted. He was so pleased to be here at Riderwood.

Our prayers and thoughts to the Boss Family. We loved Uncle Eddie and are so thankful that we got to see him so often while visiting Dad at Riderwood. We will miss him greatly and will always have the fondest thoughts of him. He was a good man who always had a smile to share.

Ed and I had married two childhood friends. After they both married we found ourselves in Silver Spring. Ed and I discovered our interest in religion when we met again in the Wheaton Library used book store and we spent much time together discussing our religious thoughts - my Greek Orthodoxy and his Presbyterianism - to the benefit of us both. I know that God will care for his soul tenderly.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mr. Boss and his family when his wife,Fay lives at Arden Courts. He was a wonderful man who was loving and caring and had the best sense of humor ever. Mr. Boss lived a full and happy life and is now at peace with his beautiful bride. He will be missed by many. My heart goes out to the Boss family.

Family, so sorry for your loss, but don't be too sad. I'm sure it won't be long before Ed finds a good barbershop quartet. Although Fay might have other plans for him...

I am so very sorry for your loss. Everyone who ever knew Ed will miss him dearly. He was such a kind, wonderful man. He and Faye were patients I had the pleasure of treating for over 30 years and I will treasure the fond memories I have of them. They both had beautiful smiles. I know they are resting in peace because of the way they lived their life. My sympathies to their family.
Sincerely,
