Edward Mitchell Bourassa, 89 of Gales Ferry CT died Monday January 20, 2025, at the Essex Meadows Health Center in Connecticut. Edward was born on December 21, 1935, in Richford, Vermont to Arthur Rene Bourassa and Florence Martin Bourassa. He is married to Kathleen Reidy Bourassa, she survives him.
Edward earned an associates degree and served in the United States Air Force with an exemplary career for over 30 years.
Besides his belove wife Kathleen, he survived by son Kenneth Bourassa, daughter Lori Bourassa and her husband Navindra Sharma, brothers Adelord Bourassa, Richard Bourassa and 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brother Alfred and sister Mary.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday January 26, 2025, at the Robertaccio Funeral Home, 85 Medford Avenue (Rte. 112) in Patchogue, NY 11772. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Monday January 27, 2025, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 7 Amity Street in Patchogue, NY. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY.
