I'm so sorry I didn't know of Ed's death. I hadn't heard anything at Christmas, nor did I hear anything from Brendan, Jr. I just want you to know that I appreciated the times Ed sent a note and for his and Faith's kindness when we were in Morristown many years ago. I have sweet memories of our childhood, and wish it could have been a lasting relationship. Love to all he left behind, and will pray for the repose of his soul. Pat

Dear Faith and Family....
We send our deep condolences to you upon Ed's passing. He was a Catholic Gentleman who was exceptionally loyal to his friends and who was a mentor to many. In the Delbarton community he was universally respected and he was the source of excellent advice and guidance.
It was a great honor to have known Ed these last many years, and his warmth and focus on life's important priorities have been truly instructive. How fortunate we are to have known him....

Dear Cindy,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful father. He was always so nice to us even as we infiltrated his study playing his Frank Sinatra records and pestered him to show us the finer points of shooting pool. Spending time at your home was always a treat, but it was always a bonus when your Mom and Dad were at home. I will forever cherish these memories.
You and your family will be in my prayers as you go through this difficult time.

Ed was a fine attorney, a gentleman, and a good mentor. I worked for Ed after my employer and his firm merged. He treated his support staff with great courtesy and understanding and was always available to answer questions. As I grew in my career and eventually became an attorney, I often thought back to his considerate manner. It was something excellent to emulate. My sincere condolences to Faith and Ed's extended family. I write with a grateful heart.
