I was just notified of Mr. Brownlee's passing. I will miss his cheerfulness and his tenacity, willfulness and desire to make a difference in the lives of so many young people and those he came across in need.

Lord Rest Edward's Soul and strengthen his family as they adjust to a new paradigm. Have not seen him since June '65 but I remember Edward was a nice young man, took his studies serious and seemed to have plans for himself.

We were friends starting in kindergarten at Willowbrook Elementary and Bunche Junior High. We graduated together from Centennial High. You were a wonderful friend and teacher to my children and granddaughter. You will be missed by all of us who knew and loved you.

Very sorry to hear about Mr. Bronwlee's passing. My mother worked with Mr. Brownlee at Inglewood High so I've known him since I was a young child. I appreciate him for always believing in me, always taking the time to teach me, and especially for helping me overcome my shyness. His passion for educating, guiding, and lifting up others will always be remembered. It is no exaggeration to say I would be neither where I am nor who I am today if it wasn't for Mr. Bronwlee.

Now if only...

Prayers and blessings to the family and friends and thank you for making the sacrifice to share him with countless students, educators and activists.
Anyone who knew Mr. Brownlee felt and witnessed how he was driven by the power of love. He will be missed but never forgotten. We hope that you find comfort in the memories of your time together. Peace & blessings
