Not sure what to say?

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ed’s death. My heartfelt sympathies extend to all the Burdick family. In the years that I have known Ed, he was an exceptional friend, a committed physician and father and a wonderful scuba buddy. With affection and deepest condolences.

To All of the Burdick family, near and far away--we look forward to coming to Virginia to celebrate Ed's life! He laughed often and never forgot to say a word of praise for the Lord! To all friends and colleagues made along the way, let us rejoice in all we learned from him. To all the patients he helped...along the way-he was truely compassionate and dedicated to helping. From one who was there to help him begin the walk, I was privileged to learn so much. God-thank-you for Ed's life and...

I was one of Dr Burdick's first patients in Poquoson in 1976 - I live in Hampton but chose to go to Poquoson for my medical care from him. He was a special person - wonderful and caring. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. May God Bless you all during this difficult time. Just know there are so many people like myself who were blessed to know him in this life. Kay Allen Jones

Peter & family,

I am so sorry to hear of your Dads passing. I know he was very fine Doctor and will be missed by his family and especially the medical community. Cherish your memories that you shared with your Dad for they will always be in your heart. May God comfort you in the difficult days ahead.

With Sympathy,

I was a patient of Dr. Burdick when he was in Poquoson. I'm very thankful he was able to provide the treatment I needed to recover. I hope his soul rests in peace, in God's arms. And I know he's happy again to be with his son.

I was sorry to hear of Ed's homegoing. We shared many good times together at the ministry at Youth for Christ and the Gathering of Men. I did a lot of repairs on the York County house. My prayers are with the family during this sad time. Jim Young, Yorktown Virginia
