Mr. Butler,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II as a member of the 8th Air Force flying bomber over Europe. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. the men of the 8th Air Force flew bombing missions that usually lasted 8 hours or more going up against German fighter planes and intense anti-aircraft fire and never turned back on a...
