Not sure what to say?

It's been nearly a year now since I wrote something, but over this past year I have thought about Ed so much more. I went to the HOPE College 40 year reunion and we shared ED stories within the group we ran with during our days on campus. One story inparticular we all shared and laughed so hard with is when we were at the lake over the 4th of July weekend and our boat outing. That day each one of took turns on the "Tube" that we pulled behind the boat. It turned out to be a contest of who...

Ed and I were roomates at Hope College our Freshman year. I just ran across this Obit in search of him to convince him to go to our 40 year College reunion. When discovering he had been called home, I was so hit with grief it took a some time to recover to write something. Ed was such a good man. Great athlete, Great musician, great all around person that so often thought of others before himself. He had a unique way about him, infectious laugh and sense of humor. I have so many stories...

I will always be thankful for Ed´s friendship, business partner and drive during our young days. Because of his vision and action, he pushed the envelope in a new territory in our industry. Thank you Ed and Rest In Peace with Jesus.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I'm very sad to learn of Ed's passing. He will forever be known as one of the best athletes Coopersville has ever had. His talent went beyond the athletic fields as he surprised his high school classmates when he "debuted" his strong singing voice with performances in Speech Theater. Bonnie, Doug, and family...my thoughts are with you as you attempt to find peace.

Eagle, Thank you for your friendship and mentorship. So many lessons and quotes I will remember forever. You will be missed dearly my friend. It is to to spread your wings and soar. See you in Sedona!! "Hawk"
