Eddie and I went to elementary school together and had many things in common. Eddie was always funny and enjoyed playing baseball and just about any sport we had. He was always the smartest kid in the class. I always thought he was going to be a rocket scientist or something requiring a high degree of thought. My condolences to the Callan family. I just heard of his passing just this week. He was such a nice, caring person. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I was a patient of doctor Callan and he helped me a lot, a surgery and many other problems I experienced ,,one day ,while waiting to get a prescription at the Kaiser facilities in Richmond, I saw him, we said Hi to each other, but I noticed that this doctor was tired, his eyes were looking at the ceiling ,almost like a form of meditation ,he looked like an angel in the sky..I told him...Dr you had a hard day I can tell...he just rolled his eyes and give me a big smile ..he died a couple of...

It's been a long time since our U of F days but it's easy to remembers Ed's easy going pleasant demeanor and his playful sense of humor and his smile. my prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

I was saddened to hear from Kaiser today that Dr. Callan had passed away. He did surgery on my vocal cords twice and for eight years I keep going back for checks. He always was so friendly and kind and his surgery was excellent. I will miss him.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Callan. He performed surgery on both of my sons and most recently myself. We are grateful to have had such a caring dedicated doctor. To his family, please accept our condolences.

I will always remember Ed for his kindness and humility. He was a wonderful man. We always enjoyed our time with he and Anne.

Ed will be remembered for his kindness and helpfulness, both as a friend and a colleague. Whenever I neded help on a case, Ed was always willing to step in. I will remember Ed in the best of ways.
