Not sure what to say?

To Ed Campbell,s family,

My thoughts & prayers are with you. I had the opportunity to work directly with Ed, when I was President of J.I.Case do Brazil in Sao Paulo, I have many, many good memories of him. I hope that you find the peace in your hearts with the good memories of his personality, he was greater than a life to all of us that worked with him.
God Bless.

David B. Benadof, Cochabamba,Bolivia

Mary Rose, our thoughts and prayers are with you for the loss of your brother, Eddie. Our love to you and your family.

Mr Campbell was a very accomplished person we all know. I would like to share a story about the character of the man. At Case Company in the earlier years, he was a very demanding boss and intimidating, but the kind of person you would really try to please. I was a junior person back then, but I was selected to perform a special analysis and prepare a report for Mr. Campbell. I did my best and with great anxiety, submitted the report. Fortunately, he liked what I did and he made a point of...

Our friendship goes back to the Berrien Country Republican Party when your dad was chairman. Forrest Pearson was my brother-in-law at that time and got me interested so I joined.
Ed then moved away to Michigan City (I think) and onward and I didn't hear or see him until I found an article in Business Week about his being made President of Newport News Shipbuilding. I dropped him a note and he remembered me and called and we had a good visit. Since then my husband and I have...

My sincere sympathies to Gary and Sue and your family on the recent death of
Edward.

ED was a dear soul, always, congenial and generous. He was a delight to share time with. He showed incredible kindness to my family when my brother passed on from the ravages of M.S. . I hope all that came close to Mr. Campbell keep his memories alive in fondness for a man that did so much for his community and the national services he supported. John Martini., Racine, Wi

Ed Campbell was a gentleman who provided a mentoring hand to me while at Case in Racine. He always had a kind word, a guiding comment, and always time to discuss what was important. He will be missed and Dian and I send thoughts and prayers to his family.

Kevin & Campbell Family, I was very sorry to read about Mr. Campbells passing. I had the opportunity to meet him years ago through work and have dinner with him. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be greatly missed by all of you, family and friends. Sincerely, Henry "Hank" C. Turner Jr.

I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. As an attorney with the legal department I knew him throughout his presidency at the Shipyard. He was an outstanding leader not only at NNS but of the community. He was not hesitant in reaching down a level or two in the corporation to get at the facts of any issue he considered important. Once he gave his trust you could rely on it. We will miss him. Our heartfelt condolences to the members of his family.
