Not sure what to say?

Dear Jane and Family — Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you now and will continue in the days ahead. We remember well the last time you and Jack attended the Bartlett High Alumni Banquet and we sat across the table from you. We had a delightful evening getting to know Jack and recalling common experiences from our high school days. Those are now pleasant memories we call upon at this time of thinking of your loss. With love, Betty & Art Buell, Jacksonville, Florida...

Dear Jane,Craig,Marc,Scott&family:

Craig and I were running some last minute errands tonite and we talked a bit more in the car about Jack. Craig said his dad thought alot of me, but it can't even compare to how highly I thought of him . When I dated Craig, Jack {and Jane} both treated me like family : more like their daughter in law than a girlfriend. Jack was one of the kindest people that I have ever come accross. His sense of humor was second to none !!!. I will miss him...

Jane and family, I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I am glad you were able to be home with him these last few weeks. I often think of his last remarks about our mother and how sweet she was. I am sorry I didn't get a note off to him to thank him again. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of the family.

The world has lost a truly great man...but our loss is heaven's gain. The Bible says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Immediately!! He went from his bed... straight into the arms of Jesus! His last breath here was his first breath in heaven! That comforts us so much. He was instantly cured of leukemia. There is no sickness in heaven, or tears. Only joy and happiness. Uncle Jack is getting rewarded for a life well lived. He was so good to all of us. A real...

Thank you for your service to our country.
