RANTOUL - Edward "Eddie" Cargo, 61, of Rantoul passed away with his family at his bedside on Monday morning (Nov. 20, 2023) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born May 12, 1962, in Joliet, a son of Donald and Mary (Brown) Cargo.

Our condolences and prayers go out to the entire Cargo family. Eddie´s success and love for long distance running was a microcosm of his perseverance through the obstacles of life and it was wonderful news learning that he´d accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Rest in peace Eddie and God Bless.
