Not sure what to say?

And when eternity beckons, at the end of a life heaped high with love,
May the good Lord embrace you with the arms that have nurtured you
the whole length of your joy-filled days.

You'll always be missed, and never forgotten.

Hi Mary.
We learned of your father's passing this past Sunday, during our attendance at a Circolo Italiano meeting. We are quite saddened and extend our condolensces to you and your family.

Well, if I had memorized some WB Yeats this would be the time to share prose, songs and dance in celebration of a life well lived. I am grateful for God's blessing to have known you Ed and to have re-connected with our wonderful huge family. Those girls from Co. Kerry really knew how to create good stock!
We will check in on Madeline and continue to love her as you did. Your kids and their kids are all fine.
I know you are with the Lord as you traveled closely with him while you were...

I was deeply saddened to hear about Uncle Ed's passing in my mother's e-mail the other day, and I was so sad when I couldn't get home on Friday. Uncle Ed touched my life in so many ways, and I will never forget the lessons he taught through all the books he asked me to read and all the things he said; there will always be a copy of Anna Karenina on my book shelf from now on. My sympathies go out to the rest of the family, and to anyone else who was touched by this amazing human being.

It is not often in life you meet a man like Ed. And I was lucky enough to have him as an Uncle.I will miss the numerous conversations we would have about what books I was reading ,what books I had read ,and what books he "thought" I should read before he saw me again .Thank You Ed ! I promise I WILL go back to College some day soon , and I will have you to thank for it . I'll miss our talks ! Love Noreen

I had the pleasure of being a Spfld Kiltie band member a few years ago with Ed. I enjoyed his company and kindness he was a soft and gentle man.

Dear Casey Family: It was my great good fortune to have been assigned to teach in a classroom next door to Mr Casey my first year at the Peck school.Eddie was living proof that one could control a classroom without being controlling. He helped me in so many ways that first year and beyond. Also, he wasn't a bad guy to have a pint with at the end of the week.My condolences on the passing of one of the great ones.
