Not sure what to say?

Ed was always ready to help and I remember him replacing the heels on my loafers several times. My father was a regular customer of Ed's as well. With a family of 4 girls we were there very often, fixing pocketbooks or shoes. Always with a smile on his face. So sorry for your loss Ms. Carrone and family.

I just learned of this today. I knew Ed from the few times that I brought in my shoes, and he was so helpful, friendly, and just a dear, dear person. I am very sorry for your deep loss. Good-bye to a true gentleman.

So sad. Ed and I went to Hamden High School together and lived in the same neighborhood at that time. He was such a nice person. Rest in Peace, Ed. God bless.

We were saddened to hear of Eddie´s passing. Our family has many fond memories of spending family holidays and gatherings with Eddie and my cousin, Lenny. May the family´s memories of him bring them comfort and peace. The Gherlone Family
