Ned will always hold a special place in my life. Generous of heart and intellect. The days together aboard the Mabel and at Wavecrest will always be special. He will be missed by many.

I remember fondly my time spent with Ned aboard the Mabel, and in Washing ton, at work and at parties in Cobb Island. A lovely and generous man, whose memory I will always cherish.

I met Ned when I was 14 and he was leaving for Columbia with my big brother Dennis (18) . They were full of enthusiasm to make a difference and see the world. Peace corps volunteers are not the kind of guys that sit on the couch and watch sit coms. They spend their lives , volunteering in their communities and giving back and they have a lot of fun living life to the fullest. Ned was like that, a dear true friend to Dennis.
