I think of Ted often. He worked with me at the Museum during the reign of Jane Kloecker. We also lost Jane in May of this year. I often think of the two of them when running the program now. What they would say/think? Ted was an intelligent and knowledgeable man and he never put out anything that made you feel less so. Ted and I were classmates at Yale -- first meeting one another in our freshman year when we 'roomed' right across the hall from one another. And for the balance of our Yale years we were also members of the same Yale residential college. He was a very kind and gentle soul -- with a lovely sense of humor (when we last spoke I even reminded him of some of his jokes from 1948-49. Ted is a great loss to the Science and Nature Program. Such a lovely, caring and intelligent man. He is missed.
