Edward J. Chromczak, 93, of Lower Saucon Twp. died Monday, August 2, 2021 in his home. He is the husband of Jane E. (Raudenbush) Chromczak. Edward was born in Bethlehem on February 4, 1928 to the late Samuel and Julia (Hulak) Chromczak. He was a welder at the Coke Works Division of the former Bethlehem Steel many years until retiring. Edward is a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, Hellertown, where he served on its vestry, and was facilities manager and was a member of Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown. He enjoyed golf and fishing and was a special grandpop to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his loving wife 70 years; children: Debra A. of Riegelsville, Edward J. (Patricia A.) of Hellertown; grandchildren: Evan (Ashley) and Hannah; great grandchildren: Hazel and Henry. Predeceased by a sister: Eva Heil.
SERVICE: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021at the St. George's Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Avenue – Hellertown followed by the Burial Liturgy at 11 a.m. Military Honors will be accorded by the Edward H. We joined St. George Episcopal Church over a decade ago due largely to parishioners who were very welcoming, Ed and his wife Jane included. So we have known each other in elder age which has been a treat to us. We have never seen him without a smile, eve in his last days. Surely, he rests in peace.

Ed and Jane are such wonderful neighbors to us. We remember meeting them for the first time, they reached out to us with their kindness the day we moved in next door to them. Super people. We miss hearing him watching the Phillies games on their back patio on warm summer nights. I miss him coming over to see what I was working on out back on the weekends.
