Not sure what to say?

Father Coleman- we never had to wonder what you thought !!! ... and for that I am forever grateful.

We met because he was our Principal at Marian Catholic while I attended in the 70's. He was one good man and very devout and devoted priest.

He came all the way to Immaculata one year to serve as our Retreat Master and many told me how much they appreciated his candor and prayerfulness.

He was a good friend to our family in good and bad times. He came to parties and...

I have a number of fond memories regarding Father Coleman while I was a student at Cardinal Brennan, but one that will remain was on graduation day. As I was involved with the music program at the school I never sat with my class - always with the band. On graduation night, each student was handed his or her diploma, given a handshake and sent on their way. It was my turn, and Father began engaging me in conversation, saying "So you finally got to sit with the class. How does it feel?". ...

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Please stay strong for each other and know that we are here for you too.

Love Always,

I just learned of the death of Father Coleman. Unfortunately, we never met although we were distant cousins. My grandfather's mother was a Coleman. His name was Michael Coleman Ryan, born 1854 and died in 1930. He was a Medical Doctor who practiced in the New Philadelphia area and later married and moved to Coaldale in Schuylkill County. It is moving to read such fine words from those who knew Fr, Coleman. He will be surely missed.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
