COLLEY, Edward J. - Of Davison, age 59, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday May 10, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Windle officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Edward was born in Flint on October 25, 1950 and was a resident of Flint and Burton all of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Edward retired from General Motors at Chevrolet Truck and Bus Assembly and was a member of UAW Local 598. Surviving are daughter, Carah; grandson, Drayvin; sisters, Lavena Colley, Roxanne and husband Lon Anthony, Elizabeth Gross, Virginia and husband Phil Williams and Robin Colley; brothers, Ron and wife Chris Leach, Charles and wife Pat Colley, Mike Colley, Rick and wife Debbie Colley, Jim Colley, Jeff and wife Sheryl Colley, Pete and wife Connie Colley; several nieces and nephews. We were so sad to hear of Ed's passing. He was a great man and we will all miss him very much. We send our most sincere condolences to his family.

My heart and prayers go out to all the family and friends. Uncle Ed will be missed and never forgotten.

We were both shocked and saddened by this tragidy.May God be with his family at this time of need.We just ran into him about six months ago, he was happy and upbeat. He will be missed, had alot of good times together!

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Ed. We were high school friends and am glad to have had the opportunity to visit with him recently. I will never forget his "gift to gab" and his upbeat smile. My condolences to his family and loved ones.
