Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Conly family. I was honored to be part of 1973 and 1974 Track teams. He was a great coach and a person I will always remember as being a big part of my life. God Bless Coach. Steve Jarvis.

To the Conly family,as you already know Mr. Conly was an outstanding individual and I had the opportunity to know him and be coached by him, he even invited the team (1969-70) to his home for a cookout but more than that he instilled his love of sport to us young men as we were daily infected by his enthusiasm for life.

So glad to have known Ed and that he was a part of our family....We send a warm Aloha to Betty,Jim,Camie,Ron,Kea and Kapena.

I am grateful that Ed let the 1973 Cross Country Team stay at his cabin near Mammoth and train in preparation for the 1973 Cross Country season. I will remember him for his generous spirit and my condolences to his family on their loss.

My condolances, best coach I ever had, we ran the distance medley relay in Fresno 1960, with a meet record. I am still doing 5-6 half marathons yearly (it gets in your blood)

To all the Conly Family, we send our thanks for letting Ed share some of his life with us, from a freshman coached by our graduate assistant in 1951, to the days we were rivals in the Eastern Conference…he as the Citrus head coach, me at Mt.SAC. After leaving coaching and becoming an administrator and Pres. of the So. Calif. Coaches Assoc. my respect for him remained as strong as when a freshman at the U.of R. Ed was a professional, educator/coach and gentleman. It was an honor to know him...

I ran on the 1956 mile relay team at Citrus. Ed was the coach. He took us to the state finals. God Bless!!

"Hang Fire Chief" You were the best coach and mentor I ever had! You were the only coach that would allow me to skip practice to go fly fishing.

My sincerest condolences to your family, friends and vast legion of athletes who passed through the portals of Citrus College under your tutelage.

Thanks and God Bless You Coach!

Rest in peace coach. My deepest sympathy to the entire Conly family.
