I wish that I could be with you tom as you remember your loved one. I had known him most of my life. I always remember him eating our cookies and laughing as we did our silly girls things in the summers. I don't know if you remember me or not, but we served on the MUSC
Faculty Senate together in the early '90's. I was shocked to hear of
Ed's illness and death. He was a fine gentleman, and was such an
advocate for research and "user friendliness" when working with
the IRB. Please know how much he will be missed. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Just learned of the death of your husband and the girls' father when I read the newspaper today.
