Not sure what to say?

My husband, Herschel, was a roommate of Ed's for 2 years with the St. Louis Cardinals. Ed did the cooking for the guys, and Hersh cleaned up afterward (still does-Ed taught him well). Ed wasn't crazy about Hersh taking me to their apt for dinner, because he had to put on his pants. After we were married, I always heard about not how Hersh's mother had fixed certain foods, but how Ed had cooked. He did make the best cabbage rolls. Ed never cooked on Friday night, because that was "fish night"...

Dear Aunt Kathleen, Linda, Ed and Carolyn:

Sincere condolences to you on the loss of your husband and father (Uncle Hank to me). Hope the rest of you and your families are all well.

Sincerely, Carol (Redding) McKenna and Family. (formerly of South Philly)

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Dear Linda, Walt and Family. My deepest condolences to you. I remember well and never forget how happy your father was the day another Chris Craft Commander arrived at the Marina a few years back. I know he got a kick out of seeing those four like boats sitting together. I'll miss seeing him on the "COOKIE"

The Cook Family:

Ed was a classmate of mine at Notre Dame. He was a big man with character to match his size. We lost a good friend.
