I first met Ed shortly after moving to central Ohio from Texas to become the pastor of a church in the association Ed served as what was then called Director of Missions. Soon afterwards my wife and I met Gloria. We immediately realized they were a remarkable couple. They were readily available to provide support and encouragement as we faced the challenges of transitioning into a new, sometimes difficult, situation. Our love and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We have so many great memories of your dad and mom. We're sorry to hear he was suffering. He has left a tremendous legacy with all the phenomenal sermons he preached. We'll see him on the other side, and what a reunion it will be!
