Dear Julie and family,

Although it has been many years since I've had contact with your family, I was greatly saddened to hear of Ed's death. I remember him as a kind and loving man who never said anything bad about anyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Julie and Family,
I was so sad to hear Dr. Ed had passed. When someone exceeds the odds time and again, you begin to think what you know will happen wont happen and you are suprised when it does. When he first came to our office I thought, oh no not a doctor! (They make lousy patients most of the time) But Dr. Ed toed-the-line without complaints. As a matter of fact, I had to pry the complaints out of him most times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult...

Dear Julie and Family,
I just learned of Ed's passing from Laurie Whitworth. I am overcome with emotions as I think of the sweet memories I have of Dr. Corbett who took care of our family's dental needs, Bishop Corbett who cared so deeply for our family's spiritual needs, and Friend Ed, who took great pride in being such a thoughtful friend. He once told us that he trusted us implicitly with the garden at the church and he truly did. He loved all of us. A great light has gone out...

Dear Corbett Family,

The Fetzers send their deepest condolences to you. Elder Corbett was an outstanding missionary, esteemed by our family. I read Ed's obituary to Mother, and she mentioned how she loved receiving Christmas greetings from you. We rejoice with you in the goodness of Ed's life.

We were saddened to hear of Bishop Corbett's passing. He was our original Texas bishop and dentist and was enormously kind and loving. We have many terrific memories of your home, and your backyard, which Ed genrously made into the ward "rec" center. Some of us will, coincidentally, be in SLC this week and hope to attend the service.
Much love to your family.

Dear Corbett Family - My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was my Bishop when I was a youth in the Richardson Second Ward in Texas. I'll always have fond memories of him, and it's wonderful to know of his faith and strength in the gospel for his entire life. He is an inspiration even now. With warmest regards, Scott Vranes.
