Rochester, NH: Edward P. Corriveau, 59, died Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after long period of failing health.

Edward was born in Rochester, NH on November 12, 1947, the son of Henry G. and Beatrice (Gauthier) Corriveau and lived most of his life in Rochester. He was formerly employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for many years. He was a graduate of Holy Rosary High School and a graduate of Hawthorn College, was a lector at Holy Rosary Church and a member of the fourth degree Knights of Columbus.

Surviving members of the family include: his wife Christine (Nadeau) Corriveau of Rochester, his daughter, Andrea Corriveau of Rochester, his parents, Henry G. and Beatrice Corriveau of Rochester, four brothers, Henry A. Corriveau of Milton, Robert Corriveau of Rochester, Thomas Corriveau of Milton, and Roger Corriveau of Milton, two sisters, Alice Vermette of Rochester, and Annette Hope-Ross of Portsmouth, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH on Tuesday from 5 – 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 189 North Main Street, Rochester, NH, with burial in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery at a later date.

Although I only met Uncle Ed a couple of times, I still wanted to send my condolences. Ed is my fathers brother (Phil) and it's always sad to know that I didn't get a chance to know the Corriveau side of the family. May god bless you both and help you through this diffecult time.
