Not sure what to say?

Hello, my name is Andrea Wawro. I met at Cosgrove this winter after he saw me on an investigative report on TV in regards to Saint Mary Mary´s Apartments. The apartments have needed a new roof and there was a real issue with the town approving a roof that was slate, or a slate Synthetic roof when I met with Ed he talk to me about his brother, his children, how he grew up, how part of his finger went missing, and how he made a dying promised to his mother that he would always take care of...

So sorry to hear he passed and I missed the wake. My mother Rita His past secretary at the DA´s office was probably waiting for him pen in hand waiting to do some short hand and type up some letters in heaven. He was a great man and friend to my ma and our family. God bless

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. May he rest in peace.

Dear Dottie and Family, Ed's singular devotion to you, your kids, grandchildren, and church was a very special journey to witness as we floated in and out of the Cosgrove family orbit these many wonderful years. Ed can now join John Malfa and "shake down the thunder" as they continue their storied march "onward to victory". Rest in Peace, David and Judy Quinn

To reference `The Great Ed Cosgrove´s´ rock-solid reputation as a good and decent, thoroughly wholesome man, is to champion the obvious. I´m certain that his exemplary life merited him admission to heaven by acclamation. He loved his God, his wonderful wife, his highly-accomplished children, his myriad of friends, his country and the law. His generosity is the stuff of legend. We are all aware of his untiring efforts to financially support the retired nuns, who once so devotedly taught...

Was with the office 6 1/2 years and learned more from Mr. C. and Mike Lennon that I could even believe. A professional office yes, but also like a family firm as we were all "under Mr. C´s umbrella" as he liked to put it. He was a brilliant attorney but also kind and gracious with a cheerful "Hi kiddo" each and every morning. It´s been a few years since I left his office but there are some people you never forget. My prayers go out to Mrs. C. and Jimmy and Dr. Ed and the rest of the family....

So sorry to hear of Mr. Cosgrove's passing. His kindness in our time of need helped us get through the turmoil. He was a true Christian. It was my privilege to know him.

Ed was a great guy and fantastic lawyer. He will be missed. RIP

I spoke to Mr. Cosgrove frequently when I was a reporter at Buffalo Business First. I loved every conversation we had. We'd talk about current events, his time as a DA, everything. The interviews would usually extend hours beyond what was needed. Even after I left journalism to work at Buffalo State, he'd call me to check in and see how things were going. A truly great and caring man. Very sorry to hear this.
