Jim was a great engineer to work with at NNS. During one of our 688 class submarine sea trials he said let´s go to the forward end of the boat in the area aft of the sonar dome. The submarine was preparing for an Emergency Blow evolution. He said let´s sit here on our sea trial box and enjoy the ride up to the ocean surface. Jim knew how to make for a great time during a long 2 week trip on a submarine. He always showed me the best way to record and process our test results during this...
