I hadn't seen Ed in a long time and only recently found out he passed away. He was a kind person and loved people. He made you feel at ease and would talk to you about whatever you'd like to discuss. I was glad to hear his stories and see his paintings. Even though it is much overdue, I am offering my condolences to his family. A life well lived, a man of good, strong character leaves a void behind that won't ever be filled. But with that be assured he has made a good name with God and men...

I came to Ed's Cp. Hill shop in 1976 and later with my sons. I got his last haircut when he closed his basement shop. I wish I could remember all the fishing advice he gave me beyond "think like a fish!" He introduced me to muzzle loading and the practicality of keeping our sport simple.
