Ed was a great patriot and will be sorely missed for the outstanding leadership and service he has provided to America and especially to the veterans in Brooklyn.

Ed was a "one of a kind"....our memories of him are heartwarming. We will never forget our trip to Accapulco....the jeep got stuck in a hole and Ed picked it right out. Running into him as he was running on the beach in the morning ...and I was walking. His personal life and union life were exceptional. When you had Ed as a friend, you had the best. Our thoughts and our prayers are with you at this time.
