Dear Marlene,
I am sorry to hear about your sweetheart Ed. I am grateful I was able to know you both. I am grateful for your example of the deep love you have for each other.
You will be together again.

Dear Marlene,

We were saddened to hear of Ed's passing. We met him in Denver in 1965 when he was here teaching a class for Mountain Bell. Ed was a friendly guy and competent instructor.

One evening I invited him home to have dinner with my family. To liven up the meal, my wife Barbara added blue food coloring to it. When we sat down, unaware of the surprise, we found blue napkins and tablecloth, blue milk and blue food! Ed and I looked at each other, then at my kids and...

Marlene,

I miss you as my visiting teaching companion! You and Ed are such great examples of love and service. I miss seeing Ed on his morning neighborhood walks always with a bag to pick up litter. We appreciate your friendliness to us as we moved into the ward. We just love you both! We are so sorry to hear of Ed's passing.

Dear Marlene,
We have wondered for months about you and Ed and how you were doing. Thanks you so much for sharing him with us in the baptistery in the Draper Temple. His little laugh and gentile, kinds ways will always be remembered. We are so sorry for you all at this time, but I just have to think of him listening, talking, telling stories and now having a bounce in his walk. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Marlene and Family.

We are very sorry to hear of Ed's passing. He was very special to us. We send all our love.

Marlene
We are saddened to hear of the passing of Ed. He was such a dear man. He was the greatest neighbor for 18 years. He would do anything to help out. Was so kind to our kids Dustin & Megan and we will truly miss him.

Marlene and Cousins,

Uncle Ed was a great person who had a great influence on the Ericson family. I had the blessing of hunting with Ed a couple of times on Diamond Mountain. Even while hunting, you knew Ed was focused on his family and The Lord.

We prayed together and listened to stories from his youth. I am especially grateful for the love and friendship I witnessed between him and my father, Ray.

May the Comforter be with you at this time.

Love,
Jim
