Read MoreDr. Hartmann employed me for my first job in 1954. With his encouragement and the help of the auxiliary I went to the University of Michigan for dental hygiene. The training in his office put me ahead of my fellow students. I returned to work for Dr. Hartmann after graduating in 1957.

Dr. Hartmann was an excellent dentist when he cared for my teeth. I also enjoyed our friendship in later years. He was a special person.
