WE JUST LEARNED OF ED'S PASSING ON 2-5-10. WE WERE BOTH SHOCKED AND SADDENED. WE HADN'T SEEN MUCH OF ED RECENTLY BUT ALWAYS ASKED IF WE WERE OUT AND RAN INTO SOMEONE WE BOTH KNEW HOW HE WAS DOING. MY FONDNESS MEMORY OF ED IS ONE EVENING A FEW OF US DECIDED TO GO FOR A PADDLE BOAT RIDE AT SQUIRE LAKE. AFTER WE ALL GOT IN THE BOAT WE COULDN'T MOVE IT OFF SHORE. WE TRIED PUSHING IT AND FINALLY GOT IT OUT IN THE WATER. HOWEVER, ALL IT WOULD DO WAS GO AROUND IN CIRCLES. WE ALL HAD A GOOD...

Edith & Molly

My deepest condolances go out to you. I met Ed thru Joe Smiddy & Doug Kiez, back in the Flint Jr College days. I had two Studebakers (Silver & Golden Hawks) also a '66 vette and a GTO...but not as fast as Joe's GTO. Now you can see why Ed and I hit it off right away. I also remember that he knew where all the best spots to go for cheeseburgers. Ed was a great guy...we had alot of good times together. I moved to Calif, just after him and Becky got married. Then I lost...

Sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. We always had great times together at racing and other social events. Are thoughts and prayers are with the family!

Molly,

You are in my prayers. I'm sorry to not have been there physically in support (I have been very ill),but you are on my mind. I have some very fond memories of you and your parents when we were kids. Your home always seemed full of love and joy. Please take some time out for you and rest. God Bless You!

Ed was a friend of my mother (Renee O'Hara). He was a great person with a huge heart and would help anyone in any way he could. My heart goes out to his family and friends- they will all be in my prayers. You are missed Eddy!

So sorry to hear about the passing of Ed. He was always so kind. May the strength of family and friends carry you through this difficult time.

My dear friend Eddie,

I am so saddened to hear of your passing. We have been friends for so many years and had such good times together. Edith, your son was such a wonderful and kind hearted man! Molly, I know that he loved you with all his heart and you were the center of his world. We will all miss him. My prayers are with you. I know that one day we will all be united once again.
