Loving father of Edward Deely, Jr. of Nashua, NH, Geralyn Szczesuil & her husband Walter of Mansfield, Maura Holland & her husband Michael of Mansfield, Kevin Deely & his wife Sheila of Roslindale, Christopher Deely & his wife Kathleen of Foxboro, Kerin Deely & her husband James Dion of Medway, & Kim Deely Emery & her husband Jamie of West Roxbury. Cherished Papa to 17 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by several sisters & brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces & nephews. WW II Veteran (U.S. Navy). Retired Asst. General Counsel for the Registry of Motor Vehicles, Comm. of Mass. Funeral from the F.J. Higgins Funeral Home, 4236 Washington St., ROSLINDALE SQUARE on Friday, June 27 at 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 11:30 AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours on Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Please accept my deepest sympathies on the passing of your father. I was sorry I couldn't make it to the services. Your dad was always so good to me and the kids. He will be missed. He was one of gods special people. God Bless him and all of you.

Dear Maura, Michael, Jillian, Laura & Michael and all the Deeley clan,
Papa will be missed. When I think of all the family parties, holidays and special occasions, I see Papa...handing out his boxes of Thin Mints! He always had a way of making us laugh. I'm sure there will always be plenty of Thin Mints in Heaven for Papa!
