Not sure what to say?

15 years. Gone but definitely not forgotten! Till we meet in heaven Mr Deligan!

Dear Deligan Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Deligan's passing. He was a very sweet man, and I enjoyed his company very much. Although it's been over 20 years since I spent time with your family, the memories of that time I hold close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and always.

If asked who a favorite teacher would have been growing up, "Mr. Deligan" would have certainly come to mind (Roosevelt High School 1978-1981). His label of "Sir Dave" was a humorous, albeit respectful address he bestowed on me each time we interacted. His classes were fun, as he was obviously passionate about the business environment, which for me, was a welcome and interesting departure from the typical, bland course cirriculum. Dear Mrs. Deligan - I met Mr. Deligan at a time when many girls are searching for the role models we all need - loving father, devoted husband, all around good-guy. He was all of these things to many people. It was always a comfort to know that Sara and I could come home from college, and that I could really "feel at home," as well. Ed was loved and will be missed - Tera Semanko

Mrs. Deligan,,

I am thankful through my relationship with Sara to have had the honor to be friends with Mr. Deligan. He was a priceless human being and the salt of the earth. He will be missed by all but I am truly thankful for the time I had known him. As I always told Sara, she was indeed blessed with having a magnificient set of parents.

Dear Joanne:

Saddened but relieved to learn of Ed's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. My mother (Kate Marshall)was always very fond of both you and Ed.

Deligan family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Although I didn't know Ed, I know Sara and she is a wonderful person. They say "the apple does not fall far from the tree". Ed must have been a good tree.

Steve and Shan,
We are thinking of you and hoping that you will find peace in your time of need.

Laurie and Tom

Steve and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad and husband. He was one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. He led by example and always had a positive thing to say. He will truly be missed.
