I had a great opportunity to, for short period of time, play a small part in the life of Ed and his sisters. It was real pleasure to have spent time with them as a teacher and a friend. I am happy for the great memories I have with the family and am sorry that Ed passed away too soon.

As a former teacher it is always sad to see the passing of someone you had as a student and as a football player. I really enjoyed working with Ed, and the rest of the family and had a great relationship with them. I am very sorry for your big loss.
