Not sure what to say?

Ed, I have many great memories of you as a friend, a teammate on our terrific football team, and as a gifted actor. Blessings to you and your beloveds! Peace, Gerry Ellis

My deepest sympathy to Ed's family. I worked with Ed on a number of Productions for Hofstra USA back in the day and was deeply saddened to only recently have learned of his (and Sue Anne's) deaths. May his family know peace.

I don t no him at all ! But, reading about one of my all time favorite actors his brother { Brain } I can only image the pain Edwards passing had on Brain. A kind care person. Brain even when he played the bad guy . A person just had to like his role . He was just that type actor that will always be loved by millions of fans world wide .May Brian and Edward find peace and love with there lord and savior Jesus ! I am sure neither of them would have any trouble entering heaven at all !!...

I was in Oklahoma with Ed back in 64. He was a professional then. So sad to find out Ed passed away.

Two years hence, a condolence can be a bit trite. The knowledge of a family's wherewithal in the public arena serves as a reminder of the human condition. This merits a heartfelt regret of a passing. To the family I bid peace during troubled times.

We worked together at the Fort Bragg Playhouse in the late 1970s. He filled the stage with his many roles. He showed me how to inhabit a character on stage, and how to leave it behind. I miss him all over again.

Edward was my dearest boyhood friend through high school and college and into married life. We had many great adventures. I sat and listened to him rehearse for dramatic interpretation contests while he was at Chaminade. I saw his first acting performances.
Then time and geography separated us and I did not see him for 20 years. We went flying then - sailplanes at Westhampton airport and then another 20 years passed. Now he is gone. I weep.

I performed on stage with Ed in three different productions at The Fort Bragg Playhouse in North Carolina . He was awesome on stage and I was always cast opposite Ed, which taught me a lot. We were in The Best Man, 1980, The Boys in the Band 1979 and Twelve Angry Men 1985, all directed by Lee Yopp. Ed was a dynamic personality and talent. He will be missed. May he and his love rest in peace.

Dear Family and Friends of Ed,
Ed,"Ace," and I were football teammates and classmates at Chaminade in the early 60's. He was a terrific actor and a fine person. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends. Jesus, take Ed into your loving arms, home at last.
With deep sympathy,
Gerry Ellis
