Not sure what to say?

To Mary Ellen and Chris:

My sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your dad. I worked for Ed for many years at GSA and he was truly a mentor to me. We often shared stories about our kids and he was so proud of you both. I also remember talking to your mom on several occasions and was saddened to learn of her passing as well. Your parents were the nicest people I knew and I will not forget them.

My heartfelt condolences to my dear colleague and friend, Sue, and to Ed's children who have now lost both of their parents in a relatively short time. This is a very difficult loss and I am thinking and praying for you all. May Ed rest in eternal Peace.

Sincerely,

Mary Hand

To Mary Ellen and Chris,

I was so sad to hear about your father. He and I worked together for many years at the General Services Adminstration. He was a wonderful person with whom I shared many laughs and stories about our children. He was so very proud of both of you. I remember how thrilled he was when he told me he was going to be a grandfather. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Your dad was a good man and a good friend.

Sue,

I'm so sorry to hear about Ed. He was a wonderful husband, father and I'm sure brother. I'm keeping you and your brothers in my prayers.

Love,

Dear Sue, I'm so very sorry to hear about the death of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Please accept my deepest sympathy. Ed was my mentor for many years before his retirement from GSA.

Goodness and mercy have followed Ed all the days of his life and he will live in the house of the Lord forever.
